Here’s my Theme FAQ. Please read this before you progress to use any of my themes. It will benefit us both, since you may not have to use your time to send me an ask and then wait for my reply if you encounter a problem or have a query. If your answer isn’t here, please proceed to ask me here.

Q: I can’t find your current theme anywhere, where is it?
A: If my theme isn’t in my /tagged/themes, then I haven’t published it. Don’t ask me to publish it, either. I love that you guys might want to use it, but I made it for my use before anybody else’s. I may post it eventually, so hang tight!

Q: How do I ____________?
A: Okay, so I get a lot of these and most of them are simple so here’s a low down (if it isn’t here, proceed to ask);

  • Removing/adding links: I add this short tutorial to the majority of the theme master posts. Check them before asking me!
  • Changing the font: Go through the theme code and CTRL + F for “font-family:”, then remove the font that’s coded in and change it to whatever you want.
  • Adding a feature (title, etc): Please respect that I made all my themes in a way that I wanted them to be made. If one comes without a title, I did that for a reason. If you would like to add a title - or another feature - then please work it out yourself.
Q: Can I remove your credit?
A: No! I’ve had people ask this and thinking that just because they’ve altered the code enough that it’s their theme. It’s not. Even if you change the code entirely I expect the credit to still be visible on the blog or on a FAQ page.
Q: What’s wrong with my theme? The colors look strange/it doesn’t look right.
A: ALWAYS save the theme and refresh the page after installing the code. The theme will always look strange after pasting, it’s just Tumblr getting confused because of the code replacement. Just save it, refresh it, and it should be back to normal.
